INDONESIA EXPO 2018 will be held at Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Center, UAE on 28 November – 1 December 2018. The holding of the INDONESIA EXPO 2018, Trade, Tourism & Investment exhibition aims to include:

• Promote the beauty of Indonesia as a world tourism destination.
• Increase the visit of Saudi Arabia tourists to Indonesia.
• Introducing Indonesian products that have the potential to enter Saudi Arabia’s market share through business cooperation with local Saudi Arabian companies.
• Introducing the investment potential of both the government (local government) and the private sector to cooperate with investors from Saudi Arabia.
• Improve business and investment cooperation between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.
• Increase the trade balance of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia which has decreased over the past three years.
• Increase Indonesia’s export value to Saudi Arabia so that it can reach a surplus point.
• Expand the market network of Indonesian products to Saudi Arabia.
• As a follow-up to King Salman’s visit to Indonesia on March 1 to 12, 2017 which resulted in several MOUs including those relating to increased business and investment cooperation.

Therefore, the potential sectors to be displayed in INDONESIA EXPO 2018 are:

1. Tour and Travel, promoting Indonesian tourism programs and investment programs.
2. Hospitality, promoting the excellence of hotel facilities and investment programs.
3. Restaurants and spas, promoting excellence and investment programs.
4. Tourism Transportation (land, sea, air), promoting excellence and investment programs.
